Getting started with Waratah BizWorks OS
- Install it. On the Google Workspace Marketplace listing, click Install, choose your Google account and click Allow.
- Open a blank Google Sheet (go to sheets.new).
- Run Setup once: Extensions → Waratah BizWorks OS → ⚙️ Setup (click me first). It builds every tab.
- Open the app: Extensions → Waratah BizWorks OS → 🚀 Open App, or 🖥️ Open Full Screen for a bigger window.
- Fill in Config (business name, logo, bank details, tax), then add your first customer and quote.
- Optional: ⏰ Enable Daily Automations sends overdue invoice reminders and quote follow-ups at about 8am each day.
Common fixes
"PERMISSION_DENIED" or the app won't open
This almost always means you're signed into more than one Google account in the same browser. Open the Sheet in a private/incognito window signed into one account (Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N, or ⌘+Shift+N on a Mac), or sign out of the other accounts.
Google asks for permission again
That's normal after an update that needs a new permission. Click Continue and Allow. You can review what the add-on can access in our privacy policy.
Emails stopped sending
Google limits how many emails an account can send each day: about 100 on free Gmail and about 1,500 on Google Workspace. The limits meter on the Dashboard shows what's left. Anything not sent is kept and can be sent the next day. Nothing is sent twice.
The menu isn't showing in my Sheet
Reload the Sheet. If it's still missing, go to Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons and check Waratah BizWorks OS is installed for the Google account you're using.
Daily reminders didn't go out
Check Extensions → Waratah BizWorks OS → ⏰ Enable Daily Automations was turned on in this Sheet (the Dashboard shows "Daily automations: ON"). They run once a day at about 8am Sydney time.
Removing the add-on
In any Google Sheet: Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click ⋮ next to Waratah BizWorks OS and choose Uninstall. To remove its access completely, go to your Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services. Your Sheet and all its data stay in your Google Drive.
